Ascent to the Taga from Pardines, the mythical Ripollès mountain separated from the Serra Cavallera by the Ogassa pass, which allows great views over the Freser and Ter valleys.

We will start the route in the neighbourhood of Puigsac, about 2 km from the village of Pardines, right next to the church of Santa Magdalena de Puigsac. We find the R213 Sobre Can Roca crossroads. We will turn right and immediately find the yellow markings until we reach the R216 Sota el Coll de Bac crossroads. We continue towards Portella d'Ogassa. Without leaving the yellow markings, we will reach the R215 Pla de Sinan crossroads and continue again towards the Portella, until we reach it. We find the R41 Portella d'Ogassa crossroads. From this point on, and until we almost reach the top, there are no further yellow markings. In the last section we see them again, because we will find the route that goes from Bruguera and the Coll de Jou, up to Taga (which is painted with yellow markings). The same route can be used to go back.

If we don't want to go back the same way, at the R215 Pla de Sinan crossroads, we can follow the directions for the Ruta de l’Estany de Can Roca [Can Roca lake route], itinerary 14 in the Natural Park towards the hermitage of Santa Magdalena. We arrive at the R214 Sobre Estany de Can Roca crossroads and continue in the direction of Pardines until we reach Santa Magdalena.
