We start in the town of Viladamat, intersection AE263 between Nou and Creu streets which we go to Plaça Catalunya and street d’Albons.
We leave on the Albons to Viladamat road and after about 300 metres, after passing the stream, at the intersection AE272 we turn left and follow the signs. We arrive at Els Salancs towards the cemetery of L’Escala. For about 300 metres we go parallel to the GI623, towards the centre of L’Escala, we turn right at the crossroad AE264 El Balcar until we find the Camí del Pla where the sign tells us to go left. We continue to the center of Les Corts and before reaching the roundabout we find the AE280 Camí ramader sign, cross at the pedestrian crossing and continue along the red paved sidewalk-bike path along Avinguda Francesc Macià.
Past Lidl, we turn left following the route signs and from Pirinexus we continue along the Passeig d’Empúries to Sant Martí d’Empúries. We find the AE223 Sant Martí d’Empúries intersection. We run parallel to the road GIP-6307, and again following the Pirinexus signs, we go right along Carrer de l’Ullal, cross a track and at the second track we turn left until we find the Cinc Claus road, where we turn right. At the intersection AE238 Camí de Cinc Claus we will take the road that takes us to Cinc Claus, at the centre it branches out into the GR1 and the GR92, there we will find the intersection AE262 Cinc Claus. We continue along the track towards Armentera. At the Armentera mill we follow the signs that take us along the Camí de les Baixures and we arrive at Carrer del Mar, we turn right and cross the town of Armentera, at the exit we find the AE222 junction, and we continue towards the river path.
When we are touching the river we find the intersection AE265 Camí del riu. We go left, on the road that surrounds the Fluvià River, in the first section it is the football field road which then turns into the Camí Vell de Figueres we find the AE267 Rec del Molí intersection, where we will turn left on the Camí Vell de Viladamat to Torroella de Fluvià until the urbanisation of Mas Gros. We will cross the streets Puig Pinar, Santa Maria de l’Orri, Romaní and Ventalló following the track that runs parallel to the road GI-623 road until we find the AE266 intersection, we cross under the road and enter Viladamat again, we go along Puig street, towards Horts street and the Plaça de l’Església and continue along Nou street until we reach the AE263 intersection, where we have started the route.
