Itinerary Cabanes and la Fageda path and Aigua path. Route 1 Setcases

Itinerary that rises steeply in the Cabanes sector, where in addition to the agroforestry mosaic and old paths flanked by stone walls and grassy meadows surrounded by hazel hedges, we will enjoy wide views of the hills and mountains of the valley. After the Coll de Llop, the landscape changes radically and we enter a pine and fir forest. 

This itinerary starts at the R102 Setcases to the roundabout at the entrance to the town,  and continue towards the junction R103 Carrer de la Font , we go up the Malet street where we find the Camí de les Creus, where we find the S3 junction and follow to the right by the route indicator of the path of les Cabanes. We follow the path that passes above the village until reaching a curve, where there is a small stream that you must cross. The path becomes narrower, we arrive at a crossroads and we go to the left, now the path begins to climb, zigzags between the hazelnut trees, it looks like a tunnel. We continue straight until the Planàs cabin (where there is a watering point). We find a fence for the cattle that we have to cross and we follow the path. Following the markings, we will take the path that goes to the left until the Llabaig cabin, where the path turns again. In a few minutes, continuing on the track, we arrive at the Closa de la Sentolla, S4 junction, where the Fageda track begins. 

Along a well-marked trail, we go along the river to the fisherman’s refuge or Picot's house. From here, we can follow the yellow markings and go towards the pla de la Fageda plain. We take a path that goes up until we cross a stream, in a forest clearing. We continue to ascend, now more gently. We will enter a wooded area, the trail begins to descend, until we find another stream that we have to cross. We will continue the descent, where we will find several water channeling boxes. The trail begins to descend and we will enter another forest until reaching the track, which leads to the town's water tank, we will follow it. Pass a stile and and following the track we arrive above the source of the Pont Nou, R105 intersection and we will follow along the sidewalk on the other side of the road until you reach the village, and we arrive at the R104 Pont d'en Jepet intersection where we end the route.
