After a couple of kilometers we find the J2 Dolmen de Canadal junction, we can reach the dolmen in 5 minutes, it is a round trip way, we will continue again in the direction of the estany petit. After one kilometer we will find the J3 Camps de Can Palet junction and continue, again in the direction of the estany petit, to the left. You reach the GI601 highway that goes to Cantallops. We cross the road and connect with the itinerary of els estanys del parc natural, where we will visit three megalithic sets.
We walked about 400 meters and we find the J4 Camí dels estanys a Canadal, in the order that the itinerary is proposed, we will visit the site els Estanys, we will arrive at the Dolmen dels Estanys, a little more than a kilometer we can see two dolmen and two menhirs of this complex.
After 500 meters we will leave camí de Comunera at junction J5 to start at the megalithic site of Querafumat.
After about 300 meters, we find the menhir del Querafumat I, the element of the megalithic set of the Mas Querafumat (“Mas” means farmhouse in Catalan). At this junction, C13 Camí dels Estanys, we can follow the megalithic itinerary of Capmany, following it we could visit other elements of the Querafumat set.
Our route continues towards the dolmen of the Baleta to visit the last set. We cross the road and after a few meters, following the yellow marks we have to turn right into a field, there is often a thread of the cattle we have to cross.
For about 500 meters we head towards the Baleta, here we also have a possible fallen menhir, at Puig de la Llosa; the Mas Baleta dolmen I, made known by science in 1894; the Mas Baleta dolmen II; and the Mas Baleta dolmen III where, after archaeological excavations led by Doctor Tarrús between 2004 and 2006, an extraordinary megalithic site has been found that is contemporary to the surrounding dolmens.
We follow in the direction of the estany petit, the road in mas Baleta takes us again to the J4 crossing to take the return to La Jonquera. We cross the GI601 road and we return to junction J3 to continue to La Jonquera, where there are about 50 minutes. Upon return we will go to the Canadal castle and la Campa.
