Start at signpost G125 Argelaguer and head along a minor road towards ‘Aguait de la Resclosa d’en Bassols 15 min’. At signpost A1 Morató, turn left towards ‘Aguait de la Resclosa d’en Bassols 10min’.
Continue along the road with fields to your left and woods to your right until you reach signpost A2 Font de Morató. Here the walk continues straight on towards ‘Aguait de la Resclosa d’en Bassols 5 min’, now on a dirt track in the forest, although with fields appearing soon on your left.
Follow the yellow paint markings that take you to a hide overlooking the weir (resclosa) and the dammed section of the river. Once you have finished birdwatching, head up a flight of steps back to the dirt track and continue following the yellow paint markings.
Continue along the track to where it turns right and yellow paint marks point you straight on along a path. This path runs next to an underground water channel as far as a building known as Molí d’en Carlot. Here, turn leftwards and pick up another dirt track that takes you to signpost A4 Rec del Vinyot, from where you are pointed back to ‘Argelaguer (nucli) 15 min’.
Walk along the minor road until the yellow marks point you left along a path that runs beside a stream and behind the first houses of Argelaguer. Continue until you come out on to Carrer Major, the village’s main street, where you should turn left to quickly reach signpost G125 Argelaguer, the starting point of this route.
