A circular route through the shady section of the Montgrony Range. Campelles has magnificent views of the Pyrenees and the Cavallera range. At the mountain hut of the Prats meadow
there is a leisure area for resting and recovering forces.
We start out from Campelles, from the C1 Sant Martí de Campelles crossing (concrete path). The route takes us towards the hut of the Pla de Prats meadow. After a few metres we come to the R142 collet de Can Climent crossing and then continue towards the Covil hut.
There is a steep ascent and then, on a dirt track, we cross the path twice in woodland sections, climbing all the way until we reach a meadow where we will find the C2 coll de Prat de Jou
crossing. Here we start the half-hour climb up a forest path to the highest point of the route, the Covil hut.
We follow the main path to the C3 font Roja signpost. At this point, we turn right down a path to reach the Pla de Prats hut from behind. We walk around the hut and go down another forest path
towards Campelles. We come to a concrete section where we find the R141 Fontibernes crossing, and turning left towards Campelles we reach the starting point quickly and easily.
