Route for the Vall de Bianya green path

This route has been incorporated into the trail network taking advantage of the section of the green path that joins Hostalnou de Bianya with Llocalou and La Canya. This route is accessible with help or is suitable for a hand bike.

The proposed route follows the entire section of the green path from Hostalnou de Bianya to Llocalou, this section is also part of the connection of the Pirinexus route between Sant Joan les Abadesses and Olot and soon the rest of the section (between Sant Joan and Bianya) will be done; this can currently be done by road.

There are two options:

  1. The one that connects to Olot to search for the “Carrilet” route (narrow gauge railway). The signposted section is followed to Llocalou where it is necessary to cross over the road and pass by the “Espai Jove” (Youth Centre) to follow the signposted route until reaching the Esperança de la Canya hermitage, where we enter the municipality of Olot and following the signs we can go to the centre of Olot or towards the Sant Roc fountains to join up with the Carrilet route.
  2. At Llocalou, go straight on towards La Canya through the Roureda district.
