Itinerary that runs through very diverse nature, retrieving a well-known and popular livestock path among local and other farmers from other places in the not-too-distant past that is now part of history. We will enjoy magnificent views of the Pyrenees and Alta Garrotxa.
We depart from Plaça Països Catalans in Vilallonga de Ter, marker R96, head towards Carrer de Setcases to the road and cross the river Ter. We follow the yellow markings at all times.
We continue along a cement track, which will take us to the bottom of the valley at the house of Can Sants. We climb along a path in the direction of Planella, the last section follows a cattle track until we reach a dirt track. We reach Pas de les Eugues, the old livestock road that went to Serrat via Meianell. A little further up we can see the neighborhood of el Cros. On the way up we reach Port field, where we find marker R100 El Port. This entire first section is the same as the route From Vilallonga to Setcases via Camí del Port i Tregurà.
We continue in the direction of Abella, we cross the torrent and the clot de la Planella and climb until we reach an old path, the Sant Bernabé road. At Pla de Pinetar we take a path leading through a pine forest to Pla de l'Oriol. We cross the path that goes from Abella to Pardines via the Verda pass and continue towards Abella. We pass through the town centre and reach marker R97 Veïnat de Baix and then continue on until we arrive at R94 Serrat de la Creu, at which point we head towards Vilallonga de Ter turning left. We arrive at the Abella bridge, marker R95, and cross the road to go up Carrer de l'Empriu, Plaça de l'Era, Carrer Major, to Plaça Països Catalans, the end of the route.
