Royal road from Vallfogona to Ripoll

The proposal starts in Vallfogona del Ripollès, although it can be done the other way around. It is proposed to do it in only one direction.
The Teisa bus company has schedules on weekends and holidays that take you to the beginning of the route.

If we want to start the route in Vallfogona del Ripollès, in the intersection of Itinerànnia R3 Vallfogona de Ripollès between the streets Prat de l'Om and Puig Estela and take the direction of Ripoll on the old royal road. , always following the yellow Itinerànnia marks and the yellow and white marks of the PR-C59.1. 

After a few metres, the marks indicate that we leave the road to turn right and go head towards the Casa de la Muntada house. After the house we cross the stream and after 400 meters the path turns right. We continue for about 150 meters on the asphalt road until we find the Torrent de les Fonts, which we cross and take a path that follows the course of the Vallfogona stream.

We go along the right bank of the stream until we find a road and a bridge again, cross it and follow the path, now along the left bank.

For 1.5 km, the path continues parallel to the N-260a road until reaching the Hostal de la Creu, where we meet the R2 intersection, which we must follow in the direction of Ripoll.

We head towards the Collet de les Fosses, cross the road and take the path climbing a little until we reach the Collet.

Now descending little by little, we continue towards the Casot dels Cirers and the Cirers, we pass by the Batet house until we reach the Font del Soler stream, after the stream we take the track that takes us to the Casa del Soler and the Turner

We will enter Ripoll by the Camí del Torner, through the area called La Granja, we find Carrer Balandrau, we follow it for about 300 meters. At this point, leave the trail network, turn left along Calle Costabona, until Avinguda Camprodon, turn left again until Ctra. d'Olot, turn right and follow the street Girona until we find the bus station where we can take the bus  to return to Vallfogona de Ripollès.

The bus leaves Ripoll on weekends and public holidays at 1.30pm

If you want to do the reverse route, the bus from Vallfogona del Ripollès to Ripoll leaves at 2.15pm (taxi of 4), every day and at weekends at 1.55pm.
