Tapis-Sant Pere dels Vilars-El Fau itinerary

Start in Tapis from  the car park, at Itinerànnia signpost AE6 we take direction to Maçanet and Albanyà. Pass Can Roger and walk downhill to Los Horts stream. Continue towards Bac del Sabarrés and Pla de Dalt along a flat path to Vilars and the Sant Pere Vilars chapel , it is 4.5 km. We find the AE5 junction and continue in the direction of Albanyà

Head uphill from Vilars, passing by Solers, the Collada de Gesos to Bac. We find the signal AE3 . There is the Alzina del Bac, a holm oak and la Font del Bac. We continue towards Albanyà and Sant Lloreç de la Muga. Continue up the Collada de Fau, passing by the Teix del Fau, with the Mare de Déu del Fau chapel just metres away. We find the AE4 junction, and return the same way. Return indicators always indicate Tapis direction
