The riera de les LLosses route. Route 1 Les Llosses

It is a route signposted as an Itinerànnia itinerary in conjunction with the Ter Consortium, as one of the routes of the Ter tributaries which, connected to the main axis of the Ruta del Ter, allow you to get to know and energize the fluvial territory.

In the church of Santa Maria de Matamala we find crossroads LL1, which points towards Les Llosses and Ripoll. We go down the track until we enter a forest, for about a kilometer we leave the forest following the track parallel to the road, between the fields, until we find crossroads R178 Pla de Capdevila; we continue in the direction of Les Llosses along the stream.

The path continues once again between the fields, borders the Selles house and continues parallel to the road, passing under the Carbonell house. It reaches the centre of Les Llosses, crosses it and follows the track. You pass near the restaurant and head towards the forest for a few kilometers. This leads to a track and we find crossroads LL2 Camí de Sant Sadurní de Sovelles. We continue in the direction of Sant Esteve de Vallespirans; for about 150 meters it coincides with GR1, until the next crossroads LL3 El Molinot, where we continue in the direction of Ripoll (Can Villaura).

For about 750 meters we will continue through the interior of the forest until we find a track that follow for another 500 meters. Paying attention to the paint marks, we leave the track and take a path through the interior of the forest which leads to the Talaia house.

It is about 5 kilometres to Ripoll, to the Can Villaura area. The path always runs parallel to the stream and crosses it several times. Caution should be exercised during rainy seasons, as walkways may be impassable. 

We pass near Ca les Vídues and the Coll mill, after the mill we cross some fields and return to the woods until cross the Tolosa path, we follow this path for a few meters and immediately return to the parallel path to the river , following the marks, passing back through the interior of the forest.

In the Arenyes area we pass under the Ripoll road. A few meters away you follow a small section of the Casot del Puig track, you leave the track again to follow the stream and near Les Planes del Corral, we cross under the road again.

There is just a kilometre and a half to go to crossroads LL4 Can Villaura B, where we pass under the road again and find the last crossroads R185 Can Villaura, where we merge into the Ruta del Ter.
