Torrent de la Cabana 7 pools route. Route 1 Campdevànol

The itinerary follows the fresh Estiula stream, popularly known as Torrent de la Cabana, where we might enjoy the beauty of its waterfalls. 

 We propose two route starts in Campdevànol or at the Querol spring.

Start in Campdevànol

If you want to start this route from Campdevànol, where you can get there by train, our proposal starts in the square in front of the Station where we will find the Itinerànnia sign Cd16 that indicates the direction of the level crossing on Costa Pubilla Street. 

A few meters ahead you will find another sign Cd17 that you must follow until you reach the level crossing sign Cd18, cross the level crossing and continue along the sidewalk, find the sign R54 Pujada a Vista Alegre and continue straight. 

The next intersection Cd19 La Creu, makes you leave the main street and go left, from this point you follow the Camí Ral, a few meters ahead you will find the intersection R46 les Planes del Cortaló and that indicates that you continue to the right on the Camí Ral. 

There are about 2 kilometers (approximately half an hour) to reach the intersection Cd2 Font del Querol.

The route starts at the environmental information point: Montgrony mountain range, in the Querol Fountain. 

You will find the CD1 Itinerànnia sign. A few meters below you will find the intersection to the royal road, intersection CD2, where we cotinue towards Gombrèn. Follow this section until crossing – R47 Planes del casal. We must continue left along the paved road, and at the end of the climb, we will find the wooden house, which is an information point for the itinerary. We then continue straight following the yellow marks, you will find a new crossroads CD3 Camí de l’Auró, you have to go straight until you will lead us to a detour to the left, and we will enter the forest path Torrent de la Cabana, crossroads CD4, that will take us to the 7 pools: 

Gorg de la Cabana, Gorg de la Tosca, Gorg de l'Olla, Gorg de la Bauma, Gorg del Forat, Gorg petit del Colomer, Gorg gran del Colomer. 

From the Gorg Gran del Colomer we can either return along the same path or go to the left to look for the track, crossroads CD14 and CD15, we will be using for returning to the beginning of the pools walk, and then we need to retrace our steps up until the wooden house and on to the car park.
