During the route we follow paths from the Itinerànnia footpath network to illustrate the traingle of love and death between Albert, Ivo and Coral·lí that Vayreda wove in his novel.

The starting point for this literary route is Sadernes, accessible by motor vehicle. Leave the car in the parking and take the Itinerant’s path which found it at the end of the stairs.

Following the yellow marks we found the signpost G32 «Molí d'en Galceran» which continue on the direction that marks Molí d'en Galceran. Following the marks we found the signpost G40 Pont d'en Valentí, continue direction “Oix 4h 35min”

30 minuts later we found a new signpost, G37 la Muntada which follow it direction also «Oix 4h 05 min». When we found the G38 Coll del Molí de Sant Aniol, take the direction to «Vila-roja» just the signpost G39 «Sant Aniol d'Aguja»

We find a new signpost, and from here we can go to the El Brull waterfall, taking the path that heads right from the fountain, always following the green and orange marks. It takes about 40 minutes (there and back).

For the return to Sadernes, it is suggested from La Núvia waterfall, in the direction indicated from the fountain. Throughout this section until the La Muntada detour, we will also find the yellow marks of Itinerànnia and those of the GR11.

At the start, we will cross the Can Barrufa gully and, further on, we pass the ruins of Ca l’Abat to the right. We continue walking until the track begins an evident ascent. After a while, we reach Portell de la Guilla and soon we will have a perfect view of the Sant Aniol valley.

We reach the two valley viewing points: the Vicari waterfall and then the splendid Núvia waterfall. We must take care at this point, as it is a narrow path with a significant vertical drop.

A little further on, we find the G36 Itinerànnia crossroad and follow it towards Sadernes, and we leave the GR11 that heads towards Talaixà. This path descends quickly in a zigzag to the Gomarell lock.

Where we find the La Muntada crossroad, we will continue towards Sadernes, on the same path as the ascent: there is about 1 hour and 40 minutes left to reach our destination.
