This route was proposed by Paratge Natural de l'Albera and Vilamaniscle council. Signposted only at the beginning with yellow Itinerànnia markings and also with white and red GR11 markings.

Leave from Plaça de Vilamaniscle and find Carrer Tramuntana; walk along this street to the right until the end of the village. Turn left at the end of the street, continuing towards the right to leave the village. At the end turn left and walk towards the country house. Continue on the trail to the Coll de la Serra. At the crossroads, take the path that runs to the left of a hut and walk up to the ridge of the Serra de la Baga d'en Ferran to the Coll de Trauc. Follow the ridge along the same path to reach the Puig de Trauc  after a short steep climb. Follow the ridge to the Dofines dolmen; at this point, leave the ridge and turn left to go down to a trail. Follow the trail to see the remains of the Querusalba Castle on the left and to reach the Coll d'Artigues. From this point several megalithic inscriptions (images carved into stone) can be seen to the left along the same trail as before (10 min round trip). From Coll de les Artigues, take a path to the right to the Font de l'Abat/Font dels Castanyers. Continue descending, crossing the Reguerada stream to reach the Sant Quirze de Colera Monestary.
